Nadia is a Consultant Orthodontist and Specialist Orthodontist who has treated hundreds of patients on their journey of achieving the smile they wish for. She has a passion for creating smiles.
She gained experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Medicine, Radiology and Paediatric Dentistry in the early part of her hospital career.
The journey to becoming a Specialist and Consultant Orthodontist took Nadia across the Midlands and Yorkshire, gaining a wide range of experience in multiple units, training in numerous different cities which shaped her training experience. She carried out her specialist training in Leeds and completed her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, England, in 2016. Whilst doing her clinical training, she completed research in autotransplantation of teeth and passed her MSc with Merit from the University of Leeds. She gained experience in specialist Practice for 2 years before embarking upon Consultant training in Birmingham, leading to the Fellowship in Orthodontics. During this final part of training, she enjoyed treating patients needing multidisciplinary treatment and in particular Orthognathic surgery and hypodontia (missing teeth), as well as regularly attending Birmingham’s Children’s’ Hospital to attend cleft clinics with the multidisciplinary team in one of four craniofacial units in the UK.
Nadia has trained to Consultant level so can confidently treat Orthognathic cases (requiring jaw surgery in conjunction with their orthodontic treatment), and those who require more complex planning due to having missing teeth or impacted teeth, as well as those with special needs or medical conditions. She has also undertaken certified training to offer Invisalign.
She believes in giving patients all options for their treatment and will work with you to choose the right type of brace to achieve a fantastic smile for life!
In her spare time she enjoys baking and continues to strive to be on the Great British Bake Off (aiming to go further than the second round next time!) She has a passion for health and fitness and when she’s not treating patients, she enjoys hiking, swimming, tennis, and being outdoors. Nadia enjoys creative hobbies and also is developing her skills with oil and acrylic paints in the art studio.
